Fixed Sprung Timber Floor System

  • GenCore fixed sprung floor system is a triple layer custom machined wood floor specially employed permanent or long term projects, catering to a wide range of compatible sports and multi-use facilities.

  • Fixed systems are designed as the image above. Top panels, plywood, battens followed by cushion pads at the bottom.

    Maple hardwood are generally used for top panel flooring, hevea and oak options are also available. For more information on wood type, view below.

    Plywood is placed between top panels and battens, supports the overall durability and stability of flooring.

    Sprung floor systems adopting battens and cushion pads offers increased protection, enhances performance and reduces injuries. It provides a 58% shock absorption rate. GenCore utilizes natural rubber for its absorber rubber pads which provides prime shock absorption.

GenCore has proudly worked with major tournament hosts in Australia, facilitating quick installation, transportation, storage and removal of our portable floor panels.

  • Portable systems are designed as the image above. Unlike fixed systems, portable systems use the same panels, plywood and cushion pads but adopt plug-in units and links for easy installation and portability.
